If you missed Rody’s book party in March or would enjoy a repeat performance…
Please join us for the launch of Rody Rowe’s book “Wonder,” an exquisite gathering of poems from over 55 years of his writing. From Chesapeake Bay to the Congo, from back alleys to altars, from baptism to final breath—Rody’s work is full authenticity, musicality, stunning images, and truth-telling.
Copies of “Wonder” will be available on a donation basis. All donations will go directly to “Doctors Without Borders” to help bring health care to people who need it most—whether it be in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Yemen, or elsewhere.
When: Tuesday, May 30, 7-8:30 PM
Where: First Congregational Church (2401 Cornwall Ave.)
For the six years Rody lived in Bellingham, he was an enthusiastic participant in the Red Wheelbarrow Writers, taking classes from and being mentored by both Laura and Cami. His poetry and prose have been published in The Potomac Review, Whatcom Writes, The Christian Century, The Poet, Lucid Stone, The Moon Magazine and elsewhere
